METICORTEN® tablets are indicated for the treatment of various endocrine, musculoskeletal, connective tissue, dermatological, allergic, ophthalmic, respiratory, hematological, neoplastic and other diseases, with a known response to steroid treatment. Treatment with corticosteroid hormones is an adjunct to conventional therapy.
Endocrinological conditions: Primary or secondary adrenal insufficiency (together with mineralo-corticosteroids, if required); congenital adrenal hyperplasia; non-suppurative thyroiditis, and hypercalcemia associated with cancer.
Musculoskeletal disorders: As adjunctive treatment for short-term administration (to help the patient overcome an acute episode or exacerbation) in cases of psoriatic arthritis; rheumatoid arthritis (certain cases may require a low-dose maintenance regimen), juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gouty arthritis, osteoarthritis synovitis, rheumatic fever, acute and subacute bursitis, acute nonspecific tenosynovitis, epicondylitis.
Connective tissue diseases: During an exacerbation or with supportive treatment in certain cases of systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, polymyositis, dermatomyositis and acute rheumatic carditis.
Dermatological diseases: Pemphigus, dermatitis herpetiformis, severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), exfoliative dermatitis, mycosis fungoides, severe psoriasis, allergic eczema (chronic dermatitis), severe seborrheic dermatitis, and urticaria.
Allergic diseases: Control of severe or disabling allergic conditions, refractory to conventional treatment, such as seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, bronchial asthma (including asthmatic status), contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis (neurodermatitis), hypersensitivity reactions to medications and serum sickness.
Ophthalmic diseases: Serious, acute and chronic allergic and inflammatory conditions affecting the eyes and their structures, such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, allergic corneal marginal ulcers, ophthalmic herpes zoster, iritis and iridocyclitis, chorioretinitis, inflammation of the anterior segment, diffuse posterior uveitis or choroiditis, optic neuritis, and sympathetic ophthalmia; central retinitis, retrobulbar neuritis.
Respiratory diseases: Symptoms of sarcoidosis, Loeffler syndrome that cannot be treated by other means; berylliosis; disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis when accompanied by appropriate antifungal therapy; pulmonary emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis.
Hematological conditions: Idiopathic and secondary thrombocytopenia in adults; autoimmune hemolytic anemia; erythroblastopenia (red cell anemia), and congenital hypoplastic (erythroid) anemia; transfusion reactions.
Neoplastic diseases: For the palliative treatment of leukemias and lymphomas in adults and acute leukemia in children, Hodgkin's lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Kidney diseases: To induce diuresis or remission of proteinuria in nephrotic syndrome without uremia, of the idiopathic type, or that due to systemic lupus erythematosus or angioedema.
Gastrointestinal diseases: For the treatment of acute exacerbations of Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
Miscellaneous ailments: Tuberculous meningovasculitis with subarachnoid blockage or impending blockage when accompanied by appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy; Bell's or peripheral facial palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, in Trichinosis with neurological and / or myocardial manifestations.

Most of the drugs we offer are manufactured in Mexico, some are manufactured in countries such as Germany, England, France and others, all manufactured by large multinational laboratories legally established in Mexico.
What is the expiration date of the medications I receive?
We offer the guarantee that your product will have at least 10 months of use at the time of sale, however most of the drugs we sell have an expiration date greater than 1 to 2 years
